WHEEL OF THE YEAR
The Sun has now reached the peak of the earth sign, Taurus, and represents the full earthly embodiment of the Horned God. The vitality and virility he gained through Aries is ready to take on physical manifestation as the blade joins the chalice in the sacred union of love and life. He is here to worship Her.
The Goddess has also grown to full sexual maturity in Scorpio. She welcomes the union with the God on all levels. With Her understanding of the power of sexual energy, She initiates the God into the mysteries of intimacy and orgasm, and draws him into a deeper understanding of himself, his role, and the transcendental experience of merging with another.
Beltaine is a celebration of life, love, and sacred sexuality. Explore your own sexuality – whether that be with a partner or with yourself – and allow yourself full indulgence.
Remember, before we were defiled and made to feel shame, it was woman’s body that was the altar at which mankind worshipped. It was through woman that union with the great unknown was possible. Celebrate and revel in the sensuality of your body and feel that power again!
