The Awakening

In the beginning, the Goddess slept and sacred darkness reigned.  Yet, in the stillness of Her slumber, the Goddess felt a stirring – the seed of Self seeking birth.  This stirring grew until the Goddess could no longer ignore it.  She opened Her eyes and Spirit flowed out.

The Goddess now knew Herself in rest and motion; from within and from without; as both Source and Spirit. This consciousness birthed the dyad, creating duality and partnership.  From this sacred duality came all of creation, forming the Trivinity.

Creation was given energy, thought, feeling, and form, becoming more individual with each gift.  This sovereignty led to a desire for connection.  Through connection, creation came to know itself as one among many, and an understanding that the many were, in truth, one.  As this truth took hold, creation recognized itself as the Goddess again, and closed Her eyes in contemplation and appreciation.

In this sacred darkness, the Goddess felt a stirring…
